Responsibilities

Manage HR Escalations & Issue Resolution

  • Engagement in the full lifecycle of CP complaints and HR-related escalations, from intake to resolution.
  • Act as a key escalation point for employee relations concerns.
  • Assist in resolving CP complaints and escalate complex issues.
  • Identify trends in CP concerns and flag opportunities for process improvements.

Provide HR Support and Process Ownership

  • Manage high-volume ticket processing (~100 tickets weekly).
  • Ensure timely responses to HR inquiries via phone, email, and text within 24-hour SLA.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Compliance, and Operations on payroll and benefits issues.
  • Review and approve HRIS changes in Dayforce (direct deposit, wage adjustments, sick leave).
  • Lead infection control cycle for CPs.
  • Oversee initial lifecycle of non-work-related injuries/illnesses and ADA interactive process.
  • Initial ownership of leave of absence requests (personal, medical, FMLA).
  • Manage employee status changes (resignations, terminations).

Offer Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach market teams on CP privacy and protected classes.
  • Present trends and challenges to HR leadership with recommendations.
  • Conduct risk mitigation reviews.
  • Process employment-related mail (unemployment claims, CA-SDI, returned paychecks).
  • Evaluate and process employment verifications.
  • Maintain CP profiles in HRIS and generate reports.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience (required)
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • 2+ years experience in HR
  • Bachelor’s degree, HR certificate, or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solver, able to work independently and in a team
  • Experience in high-growth company
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent technical skills, quick learner of new systems
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, systems, and protocols
  • Positive attitude, professional telephone demeanor
  • Willingness to work weekends consistently (Tuesday-Saturday schedule, flexibility for evenings/weekends)

  • Hourly range: $23.60 – $26.25
