Software Engineer, Communication Platform

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, release, and scale changes to mobile and backend architecture.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex problems within the team domain.
• Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on new code.
• Work both collaboratively and independently to accelerate development velocity while delivering a strong member experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with backend development and frameworks.
• Experience with mobile development and frameworks.
• Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional team members.
• Understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale production services.
• Ability to safely make changes without disrupting or introducing regressions for millions of users.
• Passion for learning and sharing knowledge with teammates.
• Self-motivation and keen attention to detail.
• Strong empathy for product users.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range: $133,000.00–$184,000.00.
