Designs and develops scalable services in Java/Python for cybersecurity platform, owning full lifecycle from requirements to production ops. Requires 3+ years distributed systems experience and cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities
- Design services and develop features through peer review to production quality.
- Write code primarily in Java and Python.
- Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and customer usage.
- Manage service/feature operational aspects with telemetry and metrics for quick issue identification.
- Ensure code quality via early developer testing, functional, and integration testing.
- Partner with Product Management for requirements clarification and scoping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years building distributed and scalable software/systems.
- Passion for software development, continuous learning, and teamwork.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP at API/programming level.
- Experience in Java, Python, or similar.
- REST API client experience.
Nice-to-Haves
- Networking and security controls.
- CloudFormation, Terraform.
- Spring or similar ecosystems.
- Kubernetes, Docker containers.
- Gang of Four design patterns.
