Responsibilities
- Design and implement core platform services in C++, focusing on multithreading, concurrency, and performance.
- Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP and DDS.
- Work on system-level software within a software-defined vehicle architecture, including Communication Management, Execution Management, State Management, Health Management, Diagnostics, and Logging.
- Apply networking and Ethernet-stack knowledge to ensure reliable, high-throughput data exchange.
- Support data-logging and recording workflows for sensor data used in ADAS development and validation.
Requirements
- Solid C++ skills, including familiarity with multithreading, concurrency patterns, and software design.
- 2+ years of software engineering experience; embedded, automotive, robotics, or distributed-systems experience is a plus.
- Exposure to communication middleware such as SOME/IP or DDS, or a strong desire to develop that expertise.
- Initiative and ownership when solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive internals or functional clusters such as Communication Management, Execution Management, Diagnostics, or Health Management.
- Experience with embedded systems or C programming.
- Advanced IPC experience using Protobuf or gRPC.
- Strong familiarity with POSIX/Linux, including system calls, runtime behavior, and memory management.
- Experience with real-time or safety-critical distributed systems.
- Familiarity with data-logging frameworks or recording infrastructure in an automotive or ADAS context.
- Prior customer-facing experience as a customer or application engineer.
