Responsibilities
Lead proofs of concept and demos for Akur8 reserving solutions, adapting presentations to stakeholder requirements.
Design proofs of concept addressing prospects’ questions about applying Akur8 software to reserving processes.
Provide industry expertise and recommendations to guide the reserving product roadmap, designs, and workflows.
Lead client training and implementation efforts through customized onboarding, software adoption, and ongoing support.
Present at industry conferences and Akur8 Academy webinars.
Advocate for clients internally by gathering and sharing feedback with sales and product teams.
Apply insurance finance, actuarial calculation, and bespoke reserving analysis expertise to common reserve-analysis outputs and reporting requirements.
Develop relationships with consulting and technology delivery partners and support their training and client delivery efforts.
Requirements
ACAS or FCAS credential.
5+ years of experience with property and casualty reserving in an actuarial department or consulting role.
At least 1 year of experience using Arius or ResQ reserving solutions.
Deep knowledge of enterprise P&C reserving practices.
Experience using or building actuarial solutions and leading software implementations.
Strong understanding of insurance reserving processes and their translation into client requirements.
Strong client-management and communication skills, including providing strategic guidance and explaining how solutions address client needs.
Experience managing projects across management, IT, and analyst teams.
Willingness to travel approximately 5 working days per month.
Native-level fluency in English.
