Senior Product Manager, Machine Identity
Senior Product Manager responsible for defining the roadmap, OKRs, and strategy for 1Password's Machine Identity product within Unified Access Management. Requires 2-4 years PM experience, strong customer empathy, and collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM teams. Bonus for security/identity or developer tools background.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the customer-facing roadmap for the Machine Identity product area, in partnership with engineering and design leads.
- Own OKRs for your area with clear success metrics, and drive quarterly planning cycles end-to-end.
- Write and iterate on PRDs, PRFAQs, and other product specifications that align engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Prioritize initiatives on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis — keeping the team focused on the work that matters most.
- Bring the customer voice into product decisions through research, direct engagement, and structured feedback loops.
- Contribute to the cross-company vision and execution strategy for Machine Identity and the broader Unified Access platform.
- Support executive-level conversations with customers and prospects about Unified Access, alongside PMM and senior PM colleagues.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in a product management role, with a track record of owning features or product areas end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience writing PRDs, PRFAQs, or similar product specifications.
- Strong customer empathy — a demonstrated ability to gather feedback, identify patterns, and translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements.
- Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and clarity needs to be created, not just inherited.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or security products.
- Experience with using AI engineering tools for your own side-projects.
