About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full lifecycle recruiting for a portfolio of roles across the Security organization, from intake through offer and close.
  • Run structured intakes with security hiring managers, translating ambiguous needs into scoped requirements, calibrated bars, and search strategies.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of specialized security talent, with an emphasis on passive candidates.
  • Refine security interview loops, take-home assignments, and scorecards alongside hiring managers, recruiting counterparts, and Recruiting Operations.
  • Develop genuine domain fluency to hold credible conversations with detection engineers, cryptographers, and compliance leads.
  • Advise hiring managers with market data and candid calibration feedback; influence decisions through credibility.
  • Partner with Compensation, People Partners, and Mobility to structure equitable offers and close candidates.
  • Handle sensitive role and candidate information with discretion, including confidential searches.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Deep full lifecycle recruiting experience, with substantial time supporting security, infrastructure, or comparably technical engineering organizations.
  • Ability to hold substantive technical conversations about security domains (application security, cloud/infrastructure security, detection and response, identity, compliance) and evaluate technical qualifications beyond keywords.
  • Proficiency with an ATS like Greenhouse and modern sourcing tools.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers on intake, bar calibration, and interview loop design.
  • Sound independent judgment on candidate quality; ability to redirect hiring managers from pedigree/credential proxies to underlying competencies.
  • Genuine interest in Anthropic's mission and the role of a strong security function.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting at a high-growth technology, AI, or machine learning company.
  • Working knowledge of the security credential landscape and judgment on where credentials add signal.
  • Experience hiring for engineering, incident response, threat intelligence, insider risk, or physical security.
  • Experience improving recruiting processes, market maps, or interview architecture.
  • Comfort using LLMs to accelerate sourcing, research, and market mapping.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Annual compensation: $240,000–$295,000 USD.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.
  • Location-based hybrid policy: Expect staff in office at least 25% of the time.
  • We sponsor visas where possible.
