Responsibilities
- Define UX strategy and experience architecture across multiple Presence initiatives.
- Shape foundational experiences across identity, profiles, community representation, Reddit Pro, and emerging product areas.
- Turn ambiguous opportunities into clear product direction, scalable frameworks, and compelling experiences.
- Use AI-assisted design and coding tools to create functional prototypes that make ideas tangible and accelerate decisions.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and senior leaders to influence product direction.
- Bring teams together around shared principles, trade-offs, and a longer-term vision.
- Raise the bar for interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and reusable design patterns.
- Mentor designers and help evolve the team’s approach to systems thinking, craft, and AI-native design.
Requirements
- 8 to 10+ years of product design experience, including complex, cross-functional work in consumer technology.
- Strong systems thinking and experience designing platform-level or reusable product experiences.
- Exceptional interaction design, information architecture, and product strategy skills.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and balancing long-term vision with near-term execution.
- A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams without direct authority.
- Strong storytelling, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience using AI-assisted design or coding tools to explore, prototype, and communicate ideas.
- A portfolio demonstrating Staff-level thinking, strong craft, and meaningful product or organizational impact.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $194,600–$272,400 USD.
- Equity in the form of restricted stock units; some positions may also be eligible for commission.
