About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the engagement end-to-end: from initial design, through build, testing, and launch. Define success with the customer and hold the line on it.
  • Turn ambiguity into a buildable plan: decompose clinical policy, legacy systems, regulatory deadlines, and stakeholder opinions into clear functional requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering.
  • Build consensus: get internal and client stakeholders (who do not report to you) to commit to and hold a shared plan.
  • Go deep into details: clinician workflows, payer operations, interoperability standards, and upcoming regulations. Spend time onsite with customers to build expertise.
  • Act as a trusted advisor: build credibility, help customers understand what they need, and guide them on the best path forward.
  • Design clinical workflows and process diagrams, write requirements, define testing plans, manage implementation timelines, and present to client senior leadership (VP and SVP+).
  • Work hand-in-hand with AI engineers, clinicians, and subject matter experts to deploy Florence (AI-driven clinical reasoning platform) into customer organizations.
  • Translate customer requirements into clear deployment specifications and coordinate across engineering, clinical, and customer teams.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or a technical customer-facing role at a high-growth software company.
  • Proven delivery track record leading complex, high-visibility transformation programs to completion.
  • Experience writing requirements documents that engineers have built from.
  • First-principles problem solving: test inherited assumptions and reason from the ground up.
  • Technical credibility: ability to read API documentation, reason about data models and system architecture, and form opinions in engineering tradeoff discussions.
  • Curiosity and empathy: desire to learn and become an expert in any content domain, with excitement about transforming US healthcare.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in or around payers, providers, or health tech (utilization management, prior authorization, risk adjustment, HEDIS, claims, or interoperability standards like FHIR, Da Vinci, X12).
  • Experience deploying AI/LLM-based systems into production, hands-on with evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, retrieval, and agent orchestration.
  • Background as a founder, founding team member, or early operator, with ability to balance craft, ownership, and speed.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive, top-of-market salary
  • 100% covered health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Catered lunches and a stocked kitchen
  • Commuter benefits
  • Company laptop and necessary tools
  • Learning & development budget
