Forward Deployed Infrastructure Engineer
Own customer-facing infrastructure deployments for an AI agent platform, from architecture and provisioning through upgrades, scaling, and incident support. Requires AWS, Terraform, container orchestration, cloud networking, and experience navigating enterprise security and compliance environments.

Responsibilities
- Own deployment architecture discussions and execution across customer environments, including VPC configuration, permissions, networking, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle for critical customers, including initial deployment, upgrades, scaling, and incident support.
- Develop deployment runbooks, upgrade procedures, and automation tooling.
- Partner with engineering to ensure the agent platform is deployable and operable across diverse technology stacks and compliance requirements.
- Work with customers’ platform engineering, security, and DevOps teams to navigate infrastructure constraints and security requirements.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success during pre-sales and onboarding to scope infrastructure requirements and create deployment plans.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or solutions architecture, including customer-facing deployment work.
- Deep experience with AWS, Terraform, container orchestration, and cloud networking.
- Experience with VPCs, IAM, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience managing deployments in customer-owned cloud environments and navigating security reviews, compliance requirements, and change management.
- Ability to work with enterprise stakeholders, including platform engineers and CISOs, and translate infrastructure discussions into deployment plans.
- Strong operational understanding of upgrades, rollbacks, monitoring, and failure modes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving startup environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying AI/ML workloads or LLM-based products in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with subscription platform infrastructure, billing systems, CRM integrations, and data pipelines.
- Early-stage startup experience across infrastructure and engineering.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $120,000–$180,000.
