Senior Software Engineer, Autonomy Applications Engineering

Responsibilities

• Become an expert user of the Hivemind Enterprise Autonomy Software Development Kit.
• Develop AI and autonomy software capabilities using Hivemind for unmanned platforms across air, sea, and space.
• Enable customers to integrate Hivemind autonomy with their vehicles and platforms.
• Debug software and API integration issues.
• Deploy Hivemind AI infrastructure at customer sites.
• Provide technical training to customers for their autonomy development efforts.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to address customer feedback and improve products.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Travel to and stay at customer sites across India for deployment, training, and flight testing; approximately 30% travel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience, or 2+ years of experience plus a master's degree.
• 3+ years of experience in an integration or applications engineering role.
• 2+ years of experience working in a startup environment.
• Strong technical background in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in modern C++.
• Intermediate proficiency in Python.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in Hindi and English.
• Ability to travel and stay deployed at customer sites across India.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to travel to the United States for up to three months at a time for training.
