Principal Enterprise Architect
Leads enterprise, data, and cloud architecture for major customer accounts, translating executive objectives into modernization and Agentic AI solutions. Requires 10–15 years of relevant experience, strong integration and data expertise, executive communication skills, an MSc-equivalent degree, and German and English fluency.

Responsibilities
- Lead and define architecture, data, and cloud strategies for large enterprise accounts.
- Present to C-level executives and align strategic objectives with technical strategy.
- Architect solutions using enterprise modernization, capability mapping, and Agentic AI.
- Bridge Celonis product and engineering teams with customer technical teams.
- Assess IT landscape maturity across the regional customer base.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales engagements with architecture and security teams.
- Coach consulting teams and ecosystem partners on architecture, integration, performance, and scalability.
- Develop reusable consulting assets, customer-facing position papers, technical designs, and thought-leadership presentations.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in architecture, consulting leadership, or enterprise technology.
- Strategic thinking that connects technical solutions to business value and customer objectives.
- Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with capability mapping, enterprise modernization, and Agentic AI.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, SaaS, ERP platforms, cybersecurity fundamentals, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premises architectures.
- Strong data architecture, integration-pattern, data operations, and automation experience.
- Development experience with data-related languages such as SQL and Python.
- Ability to code or assemble architecture demonstrations.
- MSc in Computer Science or an equivalent information technology-related field.
- Fluency in German and English.
Nice-to-haves
- Spanish, French, or Italian language skills.
- Celonis, OCPM, or Case Centric Data Pipelines experience.
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certifications.
- ESB or ETL certifications, including MuleSoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, or Informatica.
- TOGAF or Zachman certification.
- Experience in at least two business domains and two listed industries.
