Responsibilities
- Support M&A and strategic investment activity end to end, including target screening and evaluation, market and operating diligence across engineering, product, legal, and finance, valuation modeling, investment memos, deal structuring, and negotiation support.
- Own post-merger integration planning and execution by defining the integration thesis, building integration plans, and driving workstreams to realize deal objectives.
- Support fundraising preparedness by maintaining diligence-ready materials, data rooms, financial models, KPI reporting, timelines, and open-item tracking.
- Develop strategic business cases covering market and competitive analysis, target segments, use cases, deal or partnership economics, and execution roadmaps.
- Advise leadership on competitors, market structure, emerging models, and strategic planning.
- Drive internal strategy communications, including strategy memos and planning and execution tracking.
- Establish scalable corporate development processes and strategies.
- Build relationships with blockchain founders and industry leaders while maintaining an organic opportunity pipeline.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, or strategic finance.
- Direct ownership of workstreams in at least one M&A or fundraising process from start to close.
- Fluency in crypto; crypto-native work experience strongly preferred.
- Strong financial modeling and market sizing skills, including where public data is limited or inconsistent.
- Exceptional written and visual communication skills, including executive-ready presentations and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort with ambiguity and high ownership in a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor's degree.
