Sales Engineer II, Reseller & VARs
The Sales Engineer partners with reseller and VAR customers, provides technical product expertise, identifies security risks, and supports customer-facing sales presentations. The role requires 4+ years of sales engineering experience, cybersecurity expertise, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to improve their security posture.
- Review and highlight potential security problems for customers’ technical teams while positioning Huntress as a solution.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering to communicate customer needs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in a fast-moving environment.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with customers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in sales engineering or a similar role.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience working with or within managed service providers (MSPs) or value-added resellers (VARs).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including presenting to varied external audiences and C-level executives.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Preference for candidates located in Central time zones.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with malware, threat intelligence, or sandbox analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience building and implementing security programs.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) and professional services automation (PSA) tools.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools such as Elastic and Splunk.
Compensation and Benefits
- $165,000–$175,000 OTE, including base salary and bonus, plus equity.
