Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, from design and coding to testing and deployment of high-quality, scalable custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop and customize complex solutions within Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, and related revenue operations capabilities to support the entire lead-to-cash lifecycle.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows and experiences leveraging Agentforce in partnership with Business Technology and AI teams.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected, secure, and performant technical solutions with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts.
- Lead complex development projects and integrations with third-party systems across the go-to-market and back-office stack.
- Follow and evolve development best practices, including code standards, branching strategies, and CI/CD patterns.
- Mentor junior developers through technical guidance, code reviews, and constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement solutions to maintain platform health.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience building custom applications and integrations.
- In-depth experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ.
- Experience designing and implementing Agentforce-based solutions, copilots, and automated workflows.
- Expertise in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and Visualforce.
- Experience with Salesforce REST, SOAP, Bulk, and other APIs and complex system integrations.
- Proficiency with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Copado or Gearset.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, especially Claude Code.
- Strong understanding of secure coding, performance optimization, and scalable Salesforce solution design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certifications are required.
