Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain web applications containing customer-domain and marketplace-middleware business logic.
- Collaborate with Tech Leads, engineers, Product Managers, and Program Managers to develop solutions that deliver customer and business value.
- Produce concise, articulate, and detailed technical documentation.
- Apply Agile and Lean practices.
- Partner with Product to understand requirements, review technical requirements, and implement actionable backlog tasks.
- Build and maintain automated unit and integration tests.
- Support reliable system operations and high availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience on a product engineering team.
- Experience building APIs with C# and .NET.
- Experience integrating AI into daily engineering workflows, including prompt crafting and code review.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Ability to interpret system designs.
- Demonstrated teamwork and delivery.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with CQRS, event sourcing, or similar approaches.
- Experience developing event-driven systems with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies.
- Fintech or financial-services experience, including familiarity with financial regulators and their concerns.
- Experience with KYC workflows.
- Experience with multiple server-side programming languages.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Domain-Driven Development.
- Experience with Event Store databases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
- Experience scaling systems to millions of users.

Compensation
- For residents of San Francisco, CA, the annual salary range is $169,000–$200,000, with an annual bonus.
