Responsibilities
- Own the integrations product roadmap based on vendor releases and internal product priorities.
- Lead business development for third-party integrations, including partner identification, outreach, term negotiation, and vendor contracts.
- Serve as the primary contact for integration partners and vendors.
- Translate partnership agreements and business requirements into product specifications and technical requirements.
- Prioritize integrations with engineering leadership against broader product and business goals.
- Own the business development pipeline, timelines, and integration health reporting.
- Coordinate integration launches and go-to-market activities with marketing and the platform experience team.
- Identify contractual, compliance, and vendor risks and drive resolution.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in product management, business development, or a combined role in a technical environment.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts or partnership agreements.
- Strong product judgment, including writing specifications, prioritizing a Kanban-style backlog, and making prioritization decisions.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams and translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, including defining a function from scratch.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with API-based integrations and related technical concepts.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams across business development and product.
