People Systems and Automation Manager
Own and automate global People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including HRIS workflows, onboarding, mobility, and offboarding. The role requires hands-on systems-building experience, strong process design and documentation skills, and comfort operating across countries and entities.

Responsibilities
- Map and redesign People processes before automating them.
- Build workflows and automations across Rippling, Slack, Notion, and related tools, including exception paths.
- Own employee lifecycle operations for joiners, movers, and leavers.
- Close process gaps between People, IT, Finance, and Payroll.
- Build internal mobility processes for promotions, transfers, manager changes, and entity changes.
- Remove manual work and reduce employee and manager support requests.
- Measure improvements in hours, tickets, and errors.
- Write maintainable SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation.
- Design processes that support company growth, audit, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with IT and Finance on controls and evidence.
Requirements
- Experience building People Operations or HR systems at a rapidly scaling company.
- Experience with an HRIS implementation or migration.
- Hands-on experience building workflows and automations in HR systems or adjacent tools.
- Understanding of triggers, conditions, integrations, failure modes, exceptions, and edge cases.
- Ability to determine what should and should not be automated.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Experience operating across multiple countries and entities, including EOR or contractor populations.
- Broad experience across the employee lifecycle, from hiring through offboarding.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and solve complex operational problems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Rippling or a Rippling implementation.
- Experience with APIs, webhooks, or integration tooling.
- Experience with IPO readiness, SOC 2, or SOX preparation.
