About the role
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable backend platform infrastructure, abstractions, and tooling that supports application deployment, authentication, and API services.
Build and optimize distributed systems that enable rapid application development and deployment across the organization.
Architect and implement plugin systems and extensibility frameworks to build upon the platform.
Create and maintain cross-platform desktop application infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Design and implement robust authentication and authorization systems and automated testing strategies, and evaluate, integrate, and maintain authentication solutions.
Engage with external customers to gather feedback on platform capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
Document platform features, APIs, and best practices for internal and external users.
Implement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
Monitor platform performance and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and failures.
Participate in on-call rotations, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement preventive measures to improve system resilience, maintain platform availability, and respond to incidents.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
At least 1 year of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company.
At least 12 months of experience using Python, Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, Flask, Node.js/Express.js, PostgreSQL/MySQL, React.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and GCP cloud services, GitHub, OAuth 2.0, and Load Balancing.
