Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable backend platform infrastructure, abstractions, and tooling that supports application deployment, authentication, and API services.
- Build and optimize distributed systems that enable rapid application development and deployment across the organization.
- Architect and implement plugin systems and extensibility frameworks to build upon the platform.
- Create and maintain cross-platform desktop application infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Design and implement robust authentication and authorization systems and automated testing strategies, and evaluate, integrate, and maintain authentication solutions.
- Engage with external customers to gather feedback on platform capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
- Document platform features, APIs, and best practices for internal and external users.
- Implement comprehensive observability solutions including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Monitor platform performance and reliability, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and failures.
- Participate in on-call rotations, conduct post-incident reviews, and implement preventive measures to improve system resilience, maintain platform availability, and respond to incidents.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in a software engineer role with a technology company.
- At least 12 months of experience using Python, Golang, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, Flask, Node.js/Express.js, PostgreSQL/MySQL, React.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS and GCP cloud services, GitHub, OAuth 2.0, and Load Balancing.
