Head of Deal Desk - International

Leads the international Deal Desk across EMEA and APAC, overseeing complex commercial deal structuring, approvals, booking quality, and a growing team. Requires senior experience in Deal Desk or revenue operations, international sales operations, Salesforce, and CPQ.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own Deal Desk for the international business across EMEA and APAC, including the operating model, team, and outcomes.
  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of three, and scale it as the international business grows.
  • Partner with international sales teams on complex and non-standard deals, including pricing, discounting, multi-year and consumption structures, commit and ramp terms, and deal structuring.
  • Own regional deal approval and review processes, including thresholds, turnaround times, and escalation paths.
  • Partner with the global Deal Desk lead to maintain a consistent operating model while adapting to regional currency, tax, entity, and buying-norm differences.
  • Validate deals between creation and order management so quotes and signed order forms can be booked and provisioned correctly.
  • Work with Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, Legal, and Finance to resolve commercial trade-offs and close gaps between deal closure and accurate booking.
  • Own Deal Desk inputs in Salesforce and CPQ and drive scalable process and tooling improvements.
  • Establish and manage metrics including cycle time, approval turnaround, deal quality, and downstream booking accuracy.

Requirements

  • Experience leading a Deal Desk, deal management, or revenue operations function and structuring complex, non-standard commercial deals.
  • Experience managing people and hiring, developing, and growing teams.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, discounting, multi-year and consumption models, commit and ramp terms, and related approval frameworks.
  • Experience working across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Accounting to move deals from quote to signed, bookable orders.
  • Fluency with modern GTM tooling, including Salesforce and CPQ.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with field sales and internal control functions and resolve competing interests.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive international Deal Desk or revenue operations experience spanning EMEA and APAC.
  • Experience building or materially scaling a Deal Desk function.
  • Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-entity, tax, and invoicing requirements.
  • Experience with quote-to-order and order management processes and their handoffs.
  • Exposure to CPQ platforms such as nue.io and systems connecting quoting to booking.
  • Experience at a significantly scaling company during rapid international growth.
  • Understanding of how enterprises evaluate and buy AI products and how that shapes commercial structures.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual on-target earnings compensation: €295.000—€295.000 EUR.
  • Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more.
  • Visa sponsorship may be available, subject to role and candidate eligibility.
