Responsibilities
- Own Deal Desk for the international business across EMEA and APAC, including the operating model, team, and outcomes.
- Lead, hire, and develop a team of three, and scale it as the international business grows.
- Partner with international sales teams on complex and non-standard deals, including pricing, discounting, multi-year and consumption structures, commit and ramp terms, and deal structuring.
- Own regional deal approval and review processes, including thresholds, turnaround times, and escalation paths.
- Partner with the global Deal Desk lead to maintain a consistent operating model while adapting to regional currency, tax, entity, and buying-norm differences.
- Validate deals between creation and order management so quotes and signed order forms can be booked and provisioned correctly.
- Work with Revenue Operations, Revenue Accounting, Legal, and Finance to resolve commercial trade-offs and close gaps between deal closure and accurate booking.
- Own Deal Desk inputs in Salesforce and CPQ and drive scalable process and tooling improvements.
- Establish and manage metrics including cycle time, approval turnaround, deal quality, and downstream booking accuracy.
Requirements
- Experience leading a Deal Desk, deal management, or revenue operations function and structuring complex, non-standard commercial deals.
- Experience managing people and hiring, developing, and growing teams.
- Strong understanding of pricing, discounting, multi-year and consumption models, commit and ramp terms, and related approval frameworks.
- Experience working across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Revenue Accounting to move deals from quote to signed, bookable orders.
- Fluency with modern GTM tooling, including Salesforce and CPQ.
- Ability to communicate clearly with field sales and internal control functions and resolve competing interests.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Extensive international Deal Desk or revenue operations experience spanning EMEA and APAC.
- Experience building or materially scaling a Deal Desk function.
- Familiarity with multi-currency, multi-entity, tax, and invoicing requirements.
- Experience with quote-to-order and order management processes and their handoffs.
- Exposure to CPQ platforms such as nue.io and systems connecting quoting to booking.
- Experience at a significantly scaling company during rapid international growth.
- Understanding of how enterprises evaluate and buy AI products and how that shapes commercial structures.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual on-target earnings compensation: €295.000—€295.000 EUR.
- Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time; some roles may require more.
- Visa sponsorship may be available, subject to role and candidate eligibility.
