Responsibilities
- Partner with the Manager of Global Investigations and Head of Global Security to set strategic objectives, drive accountability, and deliver performance metrics.
- Design and build a global law enforcement outreach program and maintain relationships with law enforcement and government authorities.
- Collaborate with Privacy/Identity/Integrity, Risk, Community Safety, Legal, Public Policy, and Operations teams.
- Plan and deliver educational programs for law enforcement authorities regarding the business and external theft and loss challenges.
- Develop expertise across Platform Fraud, Community Safety, Law Enforcement Liaison & Partnerships, Insurance Fraud, and Executive Protection & Risk Assessment.
- Conduct and lead complex theft investigations involving organized crime and advise internal leaders and business partners.
- Support theft and loss initiatives across the bikes and scooters business.
- Analyze organized-theft trends and drive continuous improvement across the company.
- Contribute to policies and practices with cross-functional partners.
- Assist with threat and risk assessments, investigations, mitigation, and protection efforts for Executive Protection.
- Support community outreach initiatives as needed.
- Travel up to 50%.
Requirements
- Extensive experience working with law enforcement authorities; international law enforcement experience is a plus.
- Significant experience detecting organized retail crime and building law enforcement partnerships.
- Ability to gain law enforcement support for organized retail crime investigations.
- Knowledge and experience preparing for and testifying in local, state, and federal court.
- Investigative experience identifying and resolving issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and recommending deterrent enhancements.
- Ability to participate in, conduct, and lead surveillance with law enforcement for large and complex external cases.
- Ability to gain support from multiple partners to ensure successful investigations.
- Excellent written, verbal, electronic communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Highest level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information.
- Bachelor's degree or some higher education preferred.

- Base pay range: $88,560–$110,700 in the Nashville area.
