Contract Manager

Manages the contract lifecycle, repositories, workflows, compliance tracking, and reporting while triaging legal requests and partnering with Sales, Product, Finance, and Legal. Requires 3–5 years of contract management experience and proficiency with Ironclad and standard commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related requests that do not require legal counsel, providing guidance on standard contract terms and processes.
  • Assist with triaging legal requests and allocating them to appropriate counsel.
  • Manage legal document management systems and organize, track, and maintain contracts, amendments, and related documents.
  • Monitor contract compliance and key dates, including renewals, expirations, and critical milestones.
  • Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, including drafting standard agreements, managing approvals, and maintaining contract repositories.
  • Develop and implement contract management processes and workflows to support business growth and reduce operational friction.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Finance, and Legal to align contract terms with business and operational requirements.
  • Support contract administration, data entry, and preparation of contractual materials.
  • Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze contract data to identify trends, risks, and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with contract reporting.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in a fast-paced technology or AI company.
  • Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • Practical, business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal requirements and business needs.
  • Proficiency with contract management software, specifically Ironclad, including workflows and templates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google productivity tools.
  • Experience with NDAs, master service agreements, and procurement contracts.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach to improving operational efficiency.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with AI industry contracts and technology-sector agreements.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing contract management processes.

Compensation

  • United States: $140,000–$240,000 USD base compensation.
  • Canada: $155,000–$270,000 CAD base compensation.
