Strategic Finance

Responsibilities

• Build and own financial models that shape how Forus plans, forecasts, and makes high-stakes decisions
• Partner with product, growth, and operations teams to define unit economics and evaluate where we should invest to drive the most impact
• Analyze performance across the business, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and where we should double down or change course
• Lead scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support decisions around pricing, market expansion, hiring, and capital allocation
• Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on key initiatives, including new business lines, strategic partnerships, and fundraising strategy
• Help design and evolve how the company operates, including planning cadence, resource allocation, and financial discipline as we scale

Requirements

• 2–10 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a similar high-rigor analytical role
• Strong financial modeling skills — comfortable building from scratch and pressure-testing assumptions
• Ability to go from an ambiguous question to a structured answer with minimal guidance
• Excellent written and verbal communication: capable of translating complex financial insights into clear narrative for executive leadership, board, and investors
• Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
• High NPS with former teammates

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $160,000–$250,000
