About the role
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain systems and processes to track product performance
Partner with Product, Engineering, Client Operations, and Sales to set targets and prioritize action plans
Own and evolve the operating system used by Product to plan, track, and communicate work (roadmaps, planning artifacts, execution tracking)
Design and run lightweight operating cadences (planning cycles, product reviews, execution check-ins)
Improve visibility into priorities, progress, and decisions across the product organization
Define and own the PM tool stack and workflows
Identify opportunities for automation, AI/agents, and new workflows to improve how product ideas are surfaced and adopted
Build systems to capture and share high-quality product work and decisions across teams
Own and improve core product development processes, tooling, and team rituals
Drive cross-functional alignment between Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
Facilitate roadmap planning by coordinating stakeholder inputs
Design and run Early Access Programs and alpha testing programs
Own launch coordination end-to-end with clear success metrics and post-launch monitoring
Maintain cross-team roadmap visibility
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management (within a Product organization), or similar role
Experience in fast-moving, product-led organizations with emphasis on minimum necessary process
Strong systems thinker who can design operating models that scale without bureaucracy
Proven scrappy executor who takes ownership
Comfort operating in ambiguity and building from a blank page
Clear, concise communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Strong product instincts and empathy for Product Managers and cross-functional partners
Prior payments experience and curiosity to build deep understanding of VGS's products
