BI Solution Architect
Leads customer implementations of scalable BI and AI-powered analytics solutions on the GoodData platform. The role translates requirements into data models, ETL pipelines, dashboards, and LLM-enabled workflows while coordinating technical teams and advising customers.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement BI and AI-powered analytics solutions on the GoodData platform.
- Integrate LLMs and custom AI workflows to improve data access and analysis.
- Lead solution design and coordinate technical resources across consulting, product, sales, support, and training.
- Work directly with customers during implementations and build trusted-advisor relationships.
- Translate customer requirements into logical data models, ETL designs, dashboards, and consulting solutions.
- Communicate with customers in the US market.
- Mentor colleagues, expand the knowledge base, and improve implementation methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience building scalable BI solutions.
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn implementation-related technologies quickly.
- IT consulting experience, including customer expectation management and issue resolution negotiation.
- Practical experience integrating AI capabilities into analytics solutions using LLM APIs, prompt design, or structured outputs.
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Very good SQL knowledge and ability to design ETL data pipelines.
- Ability to manage simultaneous engagements with minimal supervision.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice-to-haves
- Advanced SQL query tuning and optimization.
- Experience leading BI engineers and analysts.
- Experience with ETL tools and data warehousing techniques.
- Knowledge of Ruby, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of web services and REST.
- Experience with RAG patterns, vector databases, AI agents, or LLM evaluation pipelines.
- Project management skills.
