Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets using quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, forecasting, and statistical methods.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Data and Analytical Engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments, including causal methods when randomized trials are unavailable.
- Design and build metrics and dimensions to monitor product and business performance.
- Build reporting and analytical tools that support data-driven decisions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Apply AI to automate repetitive analytical tasks and empower stakeholders.
Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience.
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or Operations Research.
- Experience in advanced analytics or product data science.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience partnering with product teams on analytics, data science, experimental design, and measurement.
- Experience analyzing A/B experiments and statistical data.
- Experience designing and building metrics, including data pipeline prototypes.
- Strong expertise in Python or R and SQL.
- Experience with AI-assisted analytics tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects from ideation through impact.
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD in a quantitative field.
- Experience with causal inference and advanced statistical modeling.
Compensation
- Base pay range: $164,000–$191,000 USD annually.
- May also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
