Global Operations Specialist
Executes ocean and air freight shipments through the full lifecycle, maintaining shipment data quality, coordinating with partners, and resolving exceptions. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, spreadsheet proficiency, and a compliance-focused approach.

Responsibilities
- Execute the movement of ocean and air freight shipments from booking at origin to final delivery at destination.
- Communicate with Flexport transportation and warehousing partners to facilitate shipment progress in transit.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within Flexport.
- Help ensure shipments move on time and exceptions are handled appropriately.
- Use metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver strong performance.
- Maintain client data quality by validating booked shipments, tracking shipment status, and validating shipment schedules.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), and productivity goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or associate's degree, or 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Suite, including Sheets or Excel.

Compensation and Benefits
- US base salary: $30.76 per hour, equivalent to $63,980.80 annually based on 2,080 hours.
