Develop and lead Range’s alternative investments strategy, defining the asset classes, products, and access points (private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, venture, and other alternatives) that will be offered to members.
Own sourcing, due diligence, and manager/fund selection, building relationships with top-tier general partners, fund managers, and platforms to secure access and favorable terms.
Lead capital deployment at scale, overseeing the allocation and ongoing management of billions of dollars of AUM into alternative strategies in line with member risk profiles and overall portfolio construction.
Drive automation and operational efficiency, partnering with Engineering and Product to build scalable workflows for subscriptions, capital calls, distributions, and reporting on alternative investments.
Set strategy and KPIs for the alternatives function, using data to measure performance, monitor exposures, and continuously improve outcomes for members.
Ensure regulatory and compliance alignment, collaborating with Compliance and Legal to support due diligence standards, disclosures, suitability, and evolving regulatory requirements around alternative investments.
Lead and develop a high-impact team, hiring, mentoring, and empowering investment professionals as the alternatives platform scales.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Investment Operations, and Client Services to launch new alternative investment offerings with operational readiness from day one.
