Responsibilities
- Lead the design of multiple international initiatives, defining design strategy, objectives, and the vision for holistic user experiences.
- Lead detailed design execution with systematic thinking and high-quality interaction and visual design craft.
- Shape the evolution of the platform through international perspectives, ensuring consistency with and contributing to brand and product architecture.
- Partner with country managers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, localization managers, and writers to define problems and goals, map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch products and services.
- Influence leadership and stakeholder decision-making through clear points of view and compelling storytelling.
- Navigate ambiguity and define and solve complex problems for global audiences.
- Scope projects with design, product, and engineering partners, including design processes, task allocation, and timelines.
- Provide indirect leadership and mentorship through design critiques and promote design thinking and best practices across functions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of design experience.
- Ability to independently formulate design directions and processes while leading and mentoring teams through execution.
- Strategic leadership in guiding teams through ambiguity, establishing visions, and driving design strategies for global products.
- Systems-oriented approach to comprehensive online and offline user experiences.
- Exceptional interaction and visual design capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills and empathy, with experience synthesizing user insights into actionable design milestones.
- Excellent storytelling, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with end-to-end product development from conception to launch or major product redesigns.
- Experience applying and evolving mature design systems.
- Understanding of technological capabilities, business objectives, user needs, opportunities, and constraints.

- Experience with international expansion, regional adaptation, localization, or global products.
- Experience modeling AI-enabled design workflows.
