Own supplier quality for mechanical equipment (CDUs, chillers, pumps, piping) from qualification through delivery at a company building massive AI compute infrastructure. Conduct audits, set inspection/test plans, witness FATs, and drive on-floor root cause/corrective actions.

Responsibilities
- Own supplier quality for mechanical equipment: CDUs, chillers, pumps, and piping packages from qualification through delivery.
- Run supplier audits and production readiness reviews before award.
- Perform source inspections before anything ships.
- Set the inspection and test plans suppliers build to, including factory acceptance test witness points.
- Drive root cause and corrective action on quality escapes, and verify the fix at the supplier floor.
Requirements
- Experience in supplier quality for mechanical or HVAC equipment manufacturers, on their floors.
- Experience witnessing factory acceptance tests and the ability to fail one when it deserves to fail.
- Ability to write inspection plans from drawings and specs, not from templates.
- Corrective actions close with evidence; repeat escapes from suppliers are rare.
Nice-to-Haves
- Liquid cooling equipment experience.
- ASME and ISO quality systems.
- Welding and brazing inspection.
- PPAP or APQP experience.
