BIM Coordinator / BIM Designer
Develops and coordinates multidisciplinary BIM models for large-scale industrial and mission-critical facilities, supporting design validation, constructability, equipment planning, and stakeholder coordination. Requires 3+ years of BIM or design technology experience and proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or comparable platforms.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain conceptual and schematic BIM models for large-scale industrial and mission-critical facilities.
- Coordinate federated BIM models across Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, and Structural disciplines.
- Model equipment layouts, utility corridors, electrical and mechanical rooms, structural framing, site infrastructure, and architectural constraints.
- Coordinate equipment clearances, maintenance access, routing zones, shafts, risers, utility entrances, and major MEP pathways.
- Translate engineering sketches, basis-of-design documents, equipment lists, one-line diagrams, and planning documentation into coordinated BIM models.
- Support test-fit studies, routing evaluations, phasing plans, utility coordination, and design option analysis.
- Maintain BIM standards, including model organization, naming conventions, worksets, shared coordinates, view templates, and model health.
- Use Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revizto, or similar platforms for multidisciplinary coordination.
- Prepare model views, coordination packages, exports, and documentation for design reviews.
- Support quantity takeoffs, equipment tracking, asset information, room data, and design progress reporting.
- Review consultant and contractor BIM deliverables for quality, completeness, coordination, and compliance with project standards.
- Support civil, electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural modeling and coordination for industrial infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of BIM modeling, BIM coordination, drafting, or design technology experience.
- Experience developing 3D models with Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Inventor, SolidWorks, or comparable BIM/CAD platforms.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary coordination for complex industrial, infrastructure, or building projects.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, equipment layouts, design narratives, diagrams, and consultant deliverables.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards, model organization, file management, and coordination workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with industrial, data center, manufacturing, utility, or other mission-critical infrastructure projects.
- Experience developing conceptual and schematic design models as well as construction documentation.
- Understanding of multidisciplinary MEP coordination, equipment clearances, routing zones, and constructability.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, Dynamo, Python, or Autodesk Platform Services.
- Experience with model automation, asset management, data extraction, quantity takeoffs, and design reporting.
- Experience coordinating with engineering organizations, consultants, contractors, and owner representatives.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
