Senior Product Manager, Data Platform
Leads product vision and execution for Okta’s enterprise data platform, APIs, pipelines, and analytics capabilities. The role requires 4–5+ years of infrastructure or SaaS product management experience, technical fluency, and strong cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities
- Define the long-term product vision and strategy for Okta’s data platform, aligning infrastructure and analytics roadmaps with large-scale identity traffic.
- Develop an API strategy and developer tooling framework so data is securely consumed across the Okta ecosystem.
- Collaborate with India-based engineering and development scrum teams on high-performance data pipelines and architectural improvements.
- Translate requirements from Product, Design, User Research, Marketing, Sales, and Go-To-Market stakeholders into precise technical specifications.
- Analyze large-scale product data and identity-centric orchestration logs to identify friction points and improve platform performance and user experience.
- Form hypotheses and design experiments to validate assumptions before major infrastructure investments.
- Track trends in data engineering, AI/ML, and analytics.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for data platform capabilities and promote data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise-scale SaaS platforms or core software infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Ability to create actionable plans from incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including collaboration across global functions and time zones.
- Demonstrated business results from platform capabilities or products shipped at scale.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with data orchestration, low-code/no-code data tools, or Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols and security standards.
- Experience managing the API surface area and developer experience for enterprise-grade platforms.
- Advanced degree in a technical or business field, such as a technical MS or MBA.
