Tests and validates autonomous vehicle hardware and software through scenario development, debugging, data analysis, and root-cause investigation. Requires an engineering bachelor's degree or equivalent, systems or vehicle test experience, and familiarity with Linux, Python, Git, Jira, MATLAB, and AWS.

Responsibilities
- Develop, conduct, and review system and vehicle scenarios and test plans to validate and verify hardware- and software-facing requirements in collaboration with software, systems, and test engineering teams.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, corrective-action deployment, and debugging on offline and online vehicle-level software and hardware.
- Develop data-analysis scripts and visualization tools to quickly extract key learnings and trends from testing.
- Communicate test results and issues effectively to technical leads and engineering peers.
- Advise engineering teams on approaches for implementing strong, testable software and system designs based on customer requirements validation.
- Understand and prioritize test exceptions to deliver products that meet customer business and technical expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Prior work experience in systems, vehicle, or test engineering.
- Passion for software, automation, and automobiles.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel on short notice.
Technical Qualifications
- Experience with Linux, Jira, Git, MATLAB, Python, and AWS.
- Familiarity with Google Suite and Slack.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with C++.
- Automotive or autonomous-vehicle experience.
