Responsibilities
- Co-lead the design and development of software infrastructure, driving technical vision and strategy for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Develop sophisticated, stateful web applications, integrating React-based front ends with modular backend services.
- Provide technical leadership in distributed systems and data technologies.
- Drive technical innovation and research into emerging data technologies and best practices.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and architectural workshops.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Adapt to the evolving JavaScript ecosystem to improve engineering efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, including at least 3 years in technical leadership.
- Full-stack development experience building web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
- Experience architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale.
- Strong understanding of data infrastructure, distributed systems, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight timelines.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience developing production-quality LLM applications.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LangSmith, LangFuse, or CrewAI.
- Expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-based data services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Compensation and Benefits
- Estimated pay range: $160,320–$200,400.
- Target bonus percentage: 15% when applicable.

- Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.
