Data Analyst, People Analytics
Analyzes people and recruiting data, responds to stakeholder requests, and builds ThoughtSpot dashboards and AI-assisted insights. The role requires strong SQL, modern BI, survey administration, and experience working with HCM and people data.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming data requests across the People organization, scoping needs, setting expectations, and delivering high-quality analytical outputs.
- Build and maintain ThoughtSpot dashboards and liveboards for recruiters, People Team members, HRBPs, managers, and executives.
- Explore and operationalize ThoughtSpot AI capabilities, including Spotter and AI Highlights, to surface proactive insights for People stakeholders.
- Build and administer Qualtrics survey programs, including survey design, distribution logic, and close-out; translate results into dashboards and ad-hoc analyses.
- Partner with Talent and People team leads to define key metrics and communicate meaningful data stories.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for People leadership and senior executives.
- Communicate across technical and non-technical audiences, from SQL-level data discussions to executive summaries.
- Collaborate with systems and operations partners to improve upstream data quality and downstream analytics.
- Assemble ad-hoc datasets from disparate sources to answer analytical questions quickly and accurately.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in data or business analytics.
- 3+ years of SQL experience, with comfort working in complex, multi-source data environments.
- Experience with ThoughtSpot or a comparable modern BI platform.
- Enthusiasm for AI-assisted analytics and curiosity about its applications to people data.
- Familiarity with Workday or a comparable HCM, including business processes and data models.
- Experience building and maintaining analytical models that others rely on.
- Understanding of people and recruiting data, including organizational structures, headcount definitions, privacy considerations, and data quality nuances.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Greenhouse or a comparable applicant tracking system.
- Experience with Qualtrics or a comparable survey platform, including hands-on program administration and transforming raw survey data into stakeholder-ready analysis.

- Base pay range: CAD $90,000–$112,500 for the Toronto area, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
