About the role

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile and validate client billing data across multiple internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation that strengthen billing processes and controls.
  • Partner with the Client Group to support timely, accurate client billing and answer data questions.
  • Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses that surface billing trends, risks, and anomalies.
  • Improve processes, data flows, and automation to reduce client billing friction.
  • Collaborate across Product Analytics, the Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to understand data sources and improve billing systems.
  • Operate within an agile framework and prioritize effectively as needs shift.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics, data, or finance-operations role. (The posting text states “52+ years,” which appears to be a formatting error.)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, large-dataset manipulation, and reconciliation.
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with relational databases.
  • Experience reconciling data across systems and investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for data accuracy.
  • Ability to navigate imperfect data and adapt to a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Clear communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with healthcare data, including medical or pharmacy claims and accounts receivable.
  • Familiarity with billing, revenue operations, or accounts-receivable processes.
  • Experience building reporting or dashboards in Looker or Tableau.
  • Exposure to Google BigQuery, dbt, or similar data-warehouse tooling.

  • Understanding of data governance, data-quality frameworks, or internal controls.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation range: $96,000–$124,500.
  • Location-based compensation; starting pay depends on qualifications and experience.
