Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across the organization to provide models, data products, and insights for decision-making and responsible growth.
- Extract insights from complex datasets and translate business needs into data problems.
- Build metrics, scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and reports.
- Deliver actionable business recommendations through analysis and data storytelling.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic insights, benchmarks, and analyses.
- Build self-service tooling and provide training to improve data literacy and autonomous reporting.
Requirements
- MS/MA plus 2 years, or BS/BA plus 3 years, of full-time experience in business intelligence engineering, data analysis, or business analysis roles, excluding internships.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive impact.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines and dashboards.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver recommendations.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
- Experience with distributed data frameworks such as Spark.
- Understanding of engineering standards, code reviews, testing, and development best practices.
- Strong statistical knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience creating leadership-level reporting, including QBRs and MBRs.
- Proficiency with AI tools for model development, analysis, and coding.
