About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop the future structure of the Existing Business team as Account Teams (Account Managers partnered with Customer Success Managers) are introduced.
  • Lead a high-performing Account Management team: develop and coach Account Managers focused on customer outcomes and business growth.
  • Drive customer expansion: coach AMs to map accounts, identify opportunities, and develop strategies for expansion.
  • Establish AM fundamentals: partner with CRO and VP of Customer Success to define KPIs, roles, responsibilities, success metrics, and operating rhythms.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations for seamless customer experiences.
  • Own customer outcomes including renewals, expansion, customer satisfaction, and commercial success across the team.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years experience leading Account Management, Sales, or Renewals teams in SaaS.
  • Proven experience developing and leading AM functions from the ground up.
  • Experience leading teams on AM motions including enterprise renewal negotiation, upselling, cross-selling, and handling customer escalations.
  • Strong coaching and people leadership skills with ability to develop talent, deliver feedback, and build a culture of accountability and growth.
  • Strategic and execution-oriented: able to think big picture while building processes, running customer calls, and getting things done.
  • Data-driven mindset using metrics and customer insights to guide decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience partnering with Sales, Product, and CS teams.

  • Experience with support or CX platforms.
  • Familiarity with usage-based or product-led growth models.
  • Background working with mid-market and enterprise customers.
