TPM Manager, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own and drive 2–3 high-priority infrastructure programs, including datacenter bring-up, capacity scaling, infrastructure migrations, and cross-team reliability initiatives.
• Build program-management processes and playbooks through hands-on execution.
• Coach and develop TPMs, transition programs to the team as it grows, and define roles, source candidates, and close hires.
• Partner with engineering leaders to prioritize TPM support and make staffing tradeoffs.
• Maintain portfolio-level visibility into program status, risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Represent the TPM team in planning cycles and leadership reviews.
• Coordinate infrastructure programs across Research, Product, Security, Finance, and Legal.
• Align programs spanning hardware and software infrastructure, including capacity planning, training schedules, accelerator kernels, and serving systems.
• Own executive communication regarding program status, risks, and resource needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technical program management experience.
• 7+ years directly managing TPMs; experience leading larger TPM organizations is preferred.
• Experience building a team or function from scratch.
• Experience scaling TPM teams in rapidly growing, fast-moving environments.
• Experience across physical and software infrastructure, including datacenters, networking, hardware operations, distributed systems, cloud platforms, or developer tooling.
• Experience leading large-scale compute or infrastructure programs, such as capacity planning, cluster deployments, datacenter build-outs, or cloud migrations.
• Ability to communicate complex programs clearly to senior leadership.
• Ability to balance hands-on program execution with people management.
• Ability to make staffing and prioritization decisions under uncertainty.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Compensation

• Annual salary: $365,000–$565,000 USD.
