Director, GTM Engineering
Lead the development and deployment of AI-powered GTM intelligence infrastructure and insight products at 1Password. Own AI agent platform rollout, build and lead a team of GTM Engineers, and serve as a strategic partner to sales, marketing, and finance leadership. Requires 8+ years in analytics/GTM ops with hands-on AI/LLM implementation experience.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the vision for 1Password's GTM intelligence infrastructure — the systems, models, and outputs that give leadership timely signals on pipeline health, retention risk, expansion opportunity, and market position.
- Translate data across CRM, marketing automation, product usage, and financial systems into curated insight products — dashboards, briefings, alerts, and AI-generated summaries — consumed by senior GTM leadership.
- Own the deployment and organizational change management for 1Password's AI agent platform across the GTM organization, including prioritizing the use case roadmap and building the governance model that makes AI deployment safe, repeatable, and measurable.
- Serve as a senior thought partner to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance leaders — bridging the gap between business questions and the intelligence products that answer them.
- Represent the intelligence function in executive forums, from board preparation to Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to strategic planning cycles.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of GTM Engineers, setting standards for analytical rigor, communication quality, and AI fluency.
- Develop the broader organization's capacity to work with AI tools and data-driven insights, fostering a culture where intelligence shapes every significant GTM decision.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, strategy, business intelligence, or GTM operations, with demonstrated ownership of insight products consumed by senior leadership.
- Proven, hands-on experience implementing AI and Large Language Model (LLM)-based tools in a business context — with a clear understanding of where they succeed, where they fall short, and how to govern them responsibly.
- A track record of translating data into decisions — you've built things that actually changed how leaders act, not just dashboards that look good in reviews.
- Cross-functional credibility with VP- and C-suite stakeholders, earned through the quality of your thinking and the clarity of your communication.
- Experience building and developing teams, including analysts or technical contributors.
- Comfort operating in greenfield, ambiguous environments where the approach is still being defined.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience deploying AI agents at an organizational level.
- Familiarity with modern GTM data stacks (Salesforce, Snowflake or equivalent data warehouse, dbt, Looker or similar business intelligence tooling).
- Prior experience at a B2B SaaS or security company.
- Exposure to enterprise sales motion and revenue forecasting methodologies.
