Product Designer
Product Designer to create novel voice interfaces and agentic product surfaces from scratch at Wispr Flow. Requires 0-to-1 design experience, strong visual and systems skills, and a standout portfolio.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Design new product surfaces from scratch, often with no existing product category to reference.
- Move fluidly between systems thinking (information architecture, interaction models, edge cases, how features compose with each other) and high-craft visual design (typography, motion, the details that make something feel considered).
- Prototype fast to understand and develop new interaction problems.
- Help define and evolve our design system as we go from single-product to multi-product, so quality holds as we scale.
- Talk to users and internalize how Flow fits into their actual work.
- Ship small-to-medium code changes with AI tooling and engineering assistance.
Requirements
- Previous founding/startup experience, or worked at a design agency/freelancing.
- An exceptional design portfolio and track record of taste.
- Experience designing products or features that didn't have an obvious reference point: 0-to-1 work, novel interaction paradigms, or categories still being defined.
- A mix of both visual design and systems design.
- Experience with either enterprise customers or mobile/devices.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and clarity of thought.
