Product Designer II, Agent Experience
Product Designer II will own end-to-end design for agent, wholesaler, and back-office workflows, from research and problem framing through coded prototyping and implementation. The role requires 3–5 years of product design experience, strong Figma and research skills, and hands-on experience designing in code-based environments.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for assigned initiatives, from problem framing and research through prototyping, validation, and implementation partnership.
- Design workflows for independent agents, wholesalers, and internal back-office teams, including role-based permissions and data import workflows.
- Conduct and synthesize user interviews, usability testing, moderated sessions with external agents, and data analysis.
- Shape solutions with product managers by helping define problems, outline approaches, and establish success criteria.
- Create user flows, diagrams, Figma designs, and coded prototypes for stakeholders, engineers, and external partners.
- Navigate shared code repositories, iterate in an IDE with AI assistance, and partner with engineers during implementation.
- Design partner integrations, including single sign-on, pre-fill, status, and quoting APIs.
- Partner with engineering to maintain design integrity while balancing technical constraints.
- Contribute to design critiques and champion user-centered design in regulated products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of product design experience, ideally with complex or regulated products.
- Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, research-to-shipping discipline, and strong interaction and visual design.
- Track record of delivering measurable product impact.
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping approaches.
- Hands-on experience building or iterating on designs in an IDE or code-based environment, such as Cursor, VS Code with AI assistants, or Claude Code.
- Comfort reading and navigating coded prototypes and collaborating in repositories with engineering and product partners.
- Experience using AI in daily design practice, with clear judgment about automation and human involvement.
- Ability to present work to stakeholders and maintain a point of view.
- Experience contributing to or working with design systems and component libraries.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate effectively with ambiguity and incomplete information.
- Ability to work within shared design direction and proactively give and receive critique.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience designing for professional or agent-facing channels, such as brokerage, wealth, distribution, or marketplace supply-side products.
- Experience designing experiences spanning two companies’ brands.
- Experience with quoting, pricing, illustration, or configurator interfaces.
- Experience with agentic or multi-step AI workflows.
- Familiarity with design-system-to-code pipelines, including Figma-to-production components.
