About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as go-to for sales on objection handling, pricing and packaging questions, competitive intel, and sales collateral
  • Build systems and processes for effective launches, winning head-to-head deals, and expanding into new segments
  • Communicate value proposition and positioning to sales, partnering with PMs and engineering on product roadmap
  • Build repeatable and scalable systems
  • Balance strategic vision and operational excellence: set high-level team strategy, plan launches, conduct competitive research
  • Work closely with sales on content creation, training, and objection handling
  • Orchestrate launches: build GTM checklist, coordinate across organization, ship on deadline
  • Strong writing and storytelling adapted to Mintlify’s tone and EPD audience

Requirements

  • 8-10 years in product marketing, with at least 2 years at early-stage company (Series A through Series B) operating as a team of 1
  • Experience in both PLG and sales-led motions, or deep experience in one with curiosity/adaptability for the other
  • Prior experience building analyst relations strategy
  • Customer Obsession: Instinctively talk to customers/prospects, build positioning from evidence
  • Writing ability: Short-form and long-form content with examples
  • Marketing breadth: Understand campaign, channel, content, comms strategy + product marketing strategy
  • Bias to action over perfection: Ship 80% this week, iterate in public
  • Experience developing customer-first marketing strategies/tactics contributing to growth goals
