- Improve client-device experiences for receiving notifications and tailoring notification preferences.
- Build the platform that enables teams across the company to send high-value notifications.
- Partner with machine learning engineers to optimize notification signals and quality.
- Maintain high standards for platform operational health and client performance.
- Collaborate with Product and Design leads to balance user delight, delivery speed, and impact.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Elixir, or TypeScript, with eagerness to learn new languages and skills.
- Track record of delivering high-quality software reliably and on time.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Ability to support teammates through empathetic feedback and collaborative learning.
- Customer-focused approach and comfort working toward clear, measurable team goals.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience using Discord and understanding Discord communication features and flows.
- Previous experience working on notifications or within a growth team.
Compensation
- Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually.
