Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Strategic Delivery
- Develop, coordinate, and track comprehensive implementation plans and resource schedules for high-quality, on-time delivery.
- Lead implementation kickoffs to discover school-specific goals, establish role expectations, and verify project timelines.
- Cross-train on specific module implementations as needed to provide continuity and delivery support.
- Conduct regular reviews of staffing, timelines, and process expectations, providing schools with clarity on implementation status.
- Proactively solicit school feedback and ensure stakeholders have the context and confidence needed throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Track implementation risks surfaced by school stakeholders or internal teams, review open items during strategic project reviews, and drive risks toward resolution.
School Success & Change Management
- Serve as the primary escalation point and relationship owner for assigned schools.
- Independently manage escalations and challenging conversations with school leadership.
- Partner with school-based project managers on change management and communication across school departments.
- Ensure school personnel complete required self-paced training and attend live sessions with Veracross experts.
- Own Salesforce project setup and administration for APAC implementations across all product lines.
- Maintain project management tools and ensure account data accuracy.
Internal Collaboration & Regional Advocacy
- Collaborate with Implementation Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success Managers to keep technical assignments on schedule.
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert for the Australian education market.
- Communicate regional nuances, sales notes, trends, school pain points, competitive positioning, and market needs to global leadership and the broader team.
- Escalate issues requiring management focus and advocate for product and service improvements supporting Australian educational institutions.
Requirements
- Experience within the Australian K–12 education sector, including knowledge of local operations, regulatory requirements, and school leadership dynamics.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience leading complex SaaS or enterprise software implementations lasting 12–18 months.
- Maturity and authority to conduct strategic conversations with school leadership and independently resolve escalations.
- Ability to manage 20–25 concurrent projects while maintaining delivery quality and stakeholder alignment.
- Broad knowledge of Veracross products, especially SIS, or the ability to rapidly develop that knowledge through self-directed learning and collaboration with technical teams.
- Sufficient understanding of implementation details to provide strategic guidance on timelines, risks, and resource planning.
