About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Apollo’s GTM business-process knowledge, systems architecture maps, and process-flow documentation.
  • Serve as the primary GTM Systems partner for a designated domain across Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, Onboarding, Internal Tools, or BI.
  • Own operational support, incremental improvements, sprint work, roadmap planning, alignment, and backlog grooming.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Sales Operations to streamline renewal processes, including opportunity stages, pages, and page layouts.
  • Make and defend Salesforce architecture decisions, including platform events, custom objects, field mappings, and data-resynchronization impacts.
  • Partner with GTM Systems engineers on AI-driven builds such as call coaching, deal scoring, demo-instance automation, and AI-assisted CRM data capture.
  • Support the design, build, testing, rollout, and maintenance of quote-to-cash infrastructure and opportunity-model improvements.
  • Own Salesforce initiatives and end-user support from discovery through rollout and maintenance.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, page layouts, custom fields and objects, record types, and Salesforce data imports, exports, and upserts.
  • Implement and administer Salesforce-integrated tools such as Chili Piper, Ironclad, and Gong.
  • Maintain technical and functional documentation and promote Salesforce best practices and user adoption.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, structure systems and data for AI interpretation, help build AI-native GTM capabilities, and validate AI-generated configuration and code.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of business analysis or consulting experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or development experience.
  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market processes across Marketing, BDR, Sales, and Customer Success/Onboarding.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce custom fields, custom objects, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, Flow, Process Builder, and Data Loader.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and translate ambiguous business problems into scoped, durable solutions.
  • Experience making and defending architecture decisions under ambiguity.
  • Experience delivering implementations through discovery, requirements gathering, vendor selection, solution design, configuration, QA/UAT, deployment, training, and communication.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong logic, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Experience with Sales Cloud, CPQ, and Service Cloud.
  • Experience supporting Salesforce environments with 100+ users.
  • Experience at high-growth SaaS or product-led-growth companies from Series C through IPO.

Compensation

  • Total cash compensation includes annual base salary and annual bonus, as applicable.
  • Pay range: $138,000–$198,000 annually.
