Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery for ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM), focusing on the Content Library, normalization engines, and reconciliation processes.
- Translate asset management business processes into automated workflows that support license reclamation and cost-avoidance strategies.
- Oversee and troubleshoot integrations with Coupa, Okta, JAMF, and Intune.
- Build and maintain SaaS connectors and custom integrations for software vendors using IntegrationHub.
- Maintain automated hardware-lifecycle workflows using Common Service Data Model (CSDM) best practices.
- Implement HAM Pro features including Hardware Model Normalization, Mobile Asset Tracking, and Asset Inventory Audit workflows.
- Manage Cloud Cost Management workflows for AWS and GCP spend visibility and optimization.
- Integrate Workday and NetSuite financial data to identify tail spend and shadow IT.
- Design dashboards and Performance Analytics widgets covering compliance, cloud savings, and hardware refresh cycles.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer, including at least 2 years focused on SAM and HAM.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; CIS-SAM or CIS-HAM highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITAM processes including procurement, deployment, harvesting, and disposal.
- Expertise in the ServiceNow SAM data model and its relationship to CMDB and CSDM.
- Experience with Cloud Cost Management or optimization for AWS and GCP.
- Hands-on experience with out-of-the-box SaaS connectors and custom integrations using REST, JSON, and IntegrationHub.
- Technical proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, GlideRecord, Flow Designer, and Scheduled Jobs.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery, JAMF, and Intune.
- Ability to troubleshoot normalization and reconciliation issues by analyzing raw discovery data and library content.
