Designer Advocate
The Designer Advocate helps customers and the design community use Figma effectively through content, events, workflow guidance, and user advocacy. The role requires deep Figma expertise, modern product design knowledge, strong technical communication, and confidence engaging publicly.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock Figma across real product workflows.
- Develop written, visual, and video resources covering modern design and development workflows.
- Foster relationships within the Figma community and nurture user-driven initiatives.
- Present practical insights at industry meetups, conferences, and community events.
- Monitor community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, advocating internally to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on Figma expertise and experience integrating Figma within real product teams.
- Experience taking ideas from early exploration to polished outcomes.
- Strong understanding of modern product design workflows and development environments.
- Experience building, managing, and using design systems and design tokens.
- Experience with AI-assisted design or prototyping.
- Close collaboration with engineers and cross-functional partners.
- Clear communication skills, especially when explaining complex workflows or systems.
- Confidence speaking publicly and engaging large audiences.
- Strong technical design skills and understanding of how design decisions translate into development.
- Passion for the design community and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Nice to have
- Experience with developer handoff tools or code-connected design workflows.
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time hybrid role based out of Figma's London hub.
- In-person onboarding is required if hired.
