Developer Relations Engineer who builds full-stack demos, creates technical content, and engages developers through communities, events, and public presentations. The role requires strong JavaScript or TypeScript, Postgres, and modern frontend experience, with a London base for local activities.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Publish compelling technical content, especially video, to help developers learn Supabase.
- Build real-world applications and demos using Supabase, Next.js, React, Stripe, and related tools.
- Write guides and tutorials that developers can follow and remix.
- Speak at meetups, livestream builds, and represent Supabase across the developer ecosystem.
- Support and grow the community by answering questions, highlighting projects, celebrating contributors, and sharing developer feedback internally.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and growth teams to amplify launches and improve the experience for new users.
Requirements
- Strong engineering skills, especially with JavaScript or TypeScript, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte, or Vue.
- Experience creating technical content in written or video formats.
- Comfort representing a product publicly on camera, on stage, or online.
- Experience building full-stack applications and sharing technical knowledge.
- Self-directed, organized, and enthusiastic about open source and developer communities.
- Based in London to support regular in-person DevRel video shoots, attend local events, and participate in the London tech ecosystem.
Nice-to-haves
- A growing audience on YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter.
- Prior experience in developer relations or open source.
- Experience using Supabase.
