Designer Advocate
The Designer Advocate partners with sales, customer experience, marketing, and product teams to educate customers, create content, engage the design community, and bring user feedback into product decisions. The role requires deep Figma and design workflow expertise, strong communication skills, and public-speaking ability.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock Figma across real product workflows.
- Develop written, visual, and video resources covering modern design and development workflows, from exploration through production-ready systems.
- Build relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives.
- Present practical insights at industry meetups, conferences, and community events.
- Monitor community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends, advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on expertise in Figma, modern product and visual design workflows, and design systems.
- Strong understanding of how design translates into development.
- Experience working within cross-functional product teams and collaborating with engineers.
- Familiarity with design systems, design tokens, AI-assisted design, and prototyping.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and explaining complex concepts.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $153,000–$317,000 USD.
